My Sweet Stitches Design shop is truly my passion and something I incredibly love to do. I've always enjoyed having a creative outlet. Whether it is scrap booking, dabbling in photography, making gifts for friends and family, or sewing, it has all been a passion.

My sister-in-law, Brett, and I started Sweet Stitches Design (or SSD as we lovingly call it) in 2011. We lived in the same neighborhood, hung out at each other's houses often, and always enjoyed talking about new crafty types of projects we were working on around the house. We were both sewing gifts for friends' kids and babies and also for our own children. Anything from quilts, to applique tees and onesies, to burp cloths. As our friends or family would open the gift and found out we made it, the response was always the same..."you should sell these!" So one day, Brett and I said "Why not! Let's try it! And thus SSD came about. Along with our Etsy shop we were also selling at our church's holiday and spring sale events. I truly love making designs with fabric, putting fabric collections together, and seeing the end product...a very proud moment.

I am a Mom to four kids and a wife to very hard working husband. My kiddos keep me busy and I love seeing them grow and learn new things everyday. My family is my whole life and I enjoy, or try to enjoy, every crazy, chaotic, and fun moment. My burp cloths are tried and true - the first ones I made were for myself. Without knowing it, my daughter was a test for what I hand make and sell now....the best burp cloths!
